Extend the life of ceramic valve by cleaning pipeline
In the pipeline system, there will be some sundries, such as welding slag, rust, slag solidified by lime slurry, iron wire, cloth, etc., which are distributed in the orifice and guide part, easily causing pipeline blockage or valve sticking to break the valve core. These common faults usually occur in the new operation system and the initial period of operation after overhaul. In such case, the valve must be disassembled for cleaning, and the slag shall be removed. If the sealing surface is damaged, it shall also be grinded. At the same time, the bottom plug shall be opened to flush the slag and flush the pipeline. Before putting into operation, make the regulating ball valve fully open and let the medium flow for a period of time before putting into normal operation.
Extend life by increasing opening
Try to work at the maximum opening when using ceramic regulating valve, such as 80%. In this way, after removing the impurities in the pipeline, adjust the opening of the regulating valve to a place with a slightly larger normal opening. With the damage of the fluid to the valve core, the flow will increase continuously, and the opening will be reduced accordingly. In this way, the whole valve core will be fully utilized through the method of continuous damage and gradual closing of the valve, until the root of the valve core and the sealing surface are damaged and cannot be used.
Increase the service life by increasing the caliber
Through the formula of CV value, we can calculate the right CV to choose the right valve diameter. Under the same flow rate, the smaller the valve diameter, the faster the flow rate of the fluid, and the more severe the erosion of the medium to the valve core and the seal. If the opening can be adjusted freely and the diameter of the valve is increased properly, the wear can be reduced.
Improve life by transferring failure location
In order to protect the sealing surface and throttling surface of the valve core and valve seat, we can transfer the serious damage to the secondary position. The erosion of ceramic ball valve is the most serious, and the place with the fastest fluid speed is the lower part of the fluid inlet. Now the ceramic regulating ball valve mainly adopts three piece structure. We can use the ball core to change direction. A ball core can be used at the entrance four times, so the service life of the valve can be extended four times.
